Soul Dance

  • Soul Dance is an Ecstatic Dance embodied expression practice that serves our individual and collective health and wellbeing. It is the most ancient community care tool.

    Soul Dance is a guided, improvisational movement practice that invites you to reconnect with the innate wisdom of your body. It recognizes that the body holds memories, emotions, and experiences that can be accessed and processed through somatic awareness, movement and communal connection in a trauma-informed container.

    Through music, movement and invitational instruction, we cycle from gentle beginnings inward to vibrant peaks that open and release, resolving in soft landings.

    Participants are invited to explore at their own rhythm and pace. Each dance is a moving meditation to meet yourself right where you are, be with what is and peel back some layers.

    The dance is for all bodies and the journey is curated to an intentional and eclectic world music soundscape. We dance to come home to the big song and remember who we really are.

    These retreats are a soul-retrieval and an invitation to listen to the wild and wise wisdom teachings of your bones, of the land, of spirit and our collective medicine given to us from every lineage.

    Each retreat weaves together dance- movement, meditation, creativity, and community as pathways toward healing and integration.

    We dance, sing, paint, rest, and listen deeply—to our bodies, to the land, and to the wisdom of our ancestors flowing through us.

    In this trauma-informed, soul-nourishing space, nothing is forced or required.

    Through movement, breath, somatic and creativity techniques, these sessions help release tension, restore balance, and cultivate emotional resilience. Every session is tailored to your unique needs and pace.
